About Me

Hey there! I’m Morgan, the founder of Explore Away Travel. My path to creating this agency is as adventurous as the trips we plan:

• I started in aerospace and mechanical engineering (rocket science, literally!), got an MBA, and then dove into the world of travel with United Airlines.
• After a decade as a product manager in aerospace and software, I decided it was time to combine my love for travel with my knack for planning.

I’ve explored 35 countries—from quick weekends in Japan to month-long stays in Thailand, often as a solo traveler. My travel style is all about finding the perfect mix of adventure, chill time, and great value. Although my family will tell you I lean towards adventure more than chill time for personal trips! 

When I’m not planning trips, you’ll find me SCUBA diving in far flung locations or hanging out with my pup, Delaney!
